This is how Biden-Harris are fudging the border numbers

The Biden-Harris regime is declaring victory over the southern border and claiming they’ve reduced the number of illegal alien apprehensions. That is a lie — they’re fudging the numbers.

The details: U.S. Border Patrol reported roughly 56,000 illegal alien apprehensions at the U.S.-Mexico border in July, the lowest since September 2020.

• Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, who was impeached for his dereliction of duty at the border, claimed victory, telling CBS News: “This is the product of a number of actions this administration has taken."

The truth: The official border numbers don’t account for the illegal aliens admitted through two legally contested Biden-Harris immigration programs:

• CBP One app: This cellphone app allows foreigners to apply for asylum in their country and then walk right into the U.S. uncontested. This program permits 1,500 per day — roughly 45,000 per month.

• Humanitarian parole: Illegals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela are flown into the country and offered “humanitarian parole” by the regime. This program allows up to 40,000 per month.

The grand total of hidden illegals per month is 95,000. When added to the official number [56,000], you arrive at 151,000 illegal entries in July — well above last July's 132,652 encounters.

Back up: Throughout the Biden-Harris tenure, they repeatedly set new all-time record highs for monthly border encounters, with the highest being 250,000 in December 2023.

• In 2021, Biden tapped Kamala Harris to lead the regime’s efforts to deal with illegal immigration, although they now deny her role as the ‘Border Czar.’

Big picture: This isn’t a solution to the Biden-Harris border crisis. It’s a sleight of hand. And it highlights how little they think of the American people, that we’d be unable to see through their parlor trick.

Kamala Crash?

The U.S. stock market fell sharply on Monday, while V.P. Kamala Harris, who played a major role in creating the economic situation, was in hiding.

Losses: All three major stock indexes closed down big yesterday, with two taking losses not seen since 2022:

• 📉 Dow dropped: 1,033 points (-2.6%)

• 📉 Nasdaq dropped: 576 points (-3.4%)

• 📉 S&P 500 dropped: 160 points (-3%)

Trump brands the crash: In a post on Truth Social yesterday, Donald Trump wrote: “TRUMP CASH vs. KAMALA CRASH!”

Is it a Kamala crash? There is no single reason for our precarious economic situation, but Kamala Harris is surely one of them.

• The Biden-Harris regime spent trillions of dollars on unnecessary, piggish bills that were a major contributor to the inflation that plagued most of their first term.

  • American 'Rescue' Plan: $1.9 trillion

  • Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act: $1.2 trillion

  • Inflation Reduction Act: $430 billion

  • Plus, roughly $100 billion in aid to Ukraine

• The Biden-Harris regime spent the last three years fighting a war against American energy production and making it harder for private businesses to prosper by creating burdensome regulations.

Kamala the tie-breaker: While Vice President, Kamala was literally the tie-breaking vote when the Senate was stalemated at 50-50 for the previously mentioned Inflation Reduction Act. Despite the name, 75% of the bill went to climate change and green energy initiatives.

What can you expect in a Kamala administration? In a sign that Harris plans to continue the destructive economic policies of the last four years, she just sniped Biden's senior economic advisor, Gene Sperling, who left the administration to be part of her election campaign.

Big picture: Kamala Harris is hiding from this economic record. Between her, her campaign, and her husband — they collectively posted more than a dozen times on X but did not mention the stock crash once.

Real talk: She is likely trying to wait out the storm, as stock futures show the market is set to rise slightly today. But whether it’s today, tomorrow, or next year — our massive debt, out-of-control prices, and impossible borrowing rates are going to catch up with us. Do we want a leader who hides when trouble arrives?
