Kamala Harris chooses far-left radical Tim Walz as VP
”One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.” - Tim Walz
Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, creating what many have called the most radical, left-wing ticket in presidential history.
Back up: Walz beat out a short list of potential running mates, namely: Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.
Short bio: Walz, who is 60 years old, was raised in Nebraska but eventually settled in Minnesota, where he was a teacher and member of the Army National Guard. In 2007, he entered politics and was elected to the House of Representatives. In 2019, he was elected governor of Minnesota. He and his wife, Gwen, have two adult children.
Wolf in sheep’s clothing: Walz presents himself as the ‘everyman’ – often seen wearing t-shirts and camo hats — a Democrat who can appeal to moderate and Republican voters. But his policy record tells a different story…
Walz, the radical leftist: The best insight into where Walz wants to take this country is the damage he’s done to Minnesota as governor over the past five years.
⚧️ Trans-ing kids: In 2023, Walz signed a bill making Minnesota a ‘sanctuary state’ for giving kids transgender treatments. He also supported allowing biological boys in girls’ locker rooms.
🚔 Anti-police: During the 2020 George Floyd riots, Walz “froze under pressure” as over 1,000 Minneapolis small businesses were burned to the ground, causing $500 million in damage. Despite pleas from the mayor, he was too slow to send in the National Guard.
🚸 Pro-illegal alien: Under Walz’s “Driver’s Licenses for All” program, roughly 81k illegals were eligible to drive and issued state ID legally. Walz also supported making Minnesota a sanctuary state for illegal aliens.
🔫 Second Amendment: Walz is a vocal supporter of banning assault weapons and re-affirmed that support during a rally with Kamala Harris last night.
🚻 Tampons for boys: Last year, Walz signed a bill requiring there be tampons in boys' bathrooms in public schools. Some online are now calling him Tampon Tim.
☎️ Big brother: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Walz infamously set up a "snitch line" where citizens were encouraged to rat out their neighbors for violating his stay-at-home order.
Non-political dirt: In less than 24 hours since Walz's nomination, several personal scandals have emerged…
Valor vulture: While Walz touts his military service, his fellow Minnesota guardsmen have publicly criticized him for retiring early to avoid deploying with his unit to Iraq in 2005.
Drunk driving: In 1995, Walz was pulled over for driving drunk, doing 96 mph in a 55 mph zone. He pled and had the drunk driving charge removed.
Socialism: While speaking last week on the 'White Dudes for Harris' fundraising call, Walz told viewers: “[D]on’t ever shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”
Donald Trump responded to the pick on Truth Social, writing: “This is the most Radical Left duo in American history. There has never been anything like it, and there never will be again.”

Musk declares war on advertising mafia
Elon Musk filed a lawsuit against several advertisers, accusing them of violating antitrust laws by illegally boycotting his social media company, X.
The details: Musk and X Corp. CEO Linda Yaccarino addressed the lawsuit against the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM), the World Federation of Advertisers, and companies including CVS Health, Mars, Orsted, and Unilever.
The suit alleges these advertisers conspired to withhold billions in revenue from X by coordinating a boycott after Musk’s 2022 acquisition.
What is GARM? It’s a cartel created by the World Federation of Advertisers, which is made up of the world’s largest brands and controls 90% of the world’s ad dollars.
Zoom out: X's advertising revenue dropped nearly 60% between April and May of 2023 when the coordinated boycott began.
No more playing nice: Yaccarino wrote an open letter to advertisers, criticizing them for falsely claiming that safety on X caused them to flee, saying:
“We’ve worked in good faith to showcase our innovations and allay concerns, yet many companies chose to dismiss the facts. To those who broke the law, we say enough is enough.”
Musk responded to Yaccarino’s post, saying: “We tried peace for 2 years, now it is war.”
Back up: Earlier this summer, an investigation led by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee uncovered the effort to silence conservative media by starving them of ad revenue.
In an e-mail, a top GARM executive states how he “hated [conservative outlets’] ideology and bulls**t.”
In 2022, GARM organized a boycott of Spotify after it determined popular podcaster Joe Rogan was spreading “misinformation” about COVID-19.
What law does this violate? The House committee believes GARM's actions violate Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act, which prohibits conspiracy against commerce.
