Kamala’s nasty politics over honored dead backfires on her

Gold Star families who lost loved ones during the Biden regime’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal came to the defense of former President Donald Trump after the Harris campaign criticized him for attending a memorial at Arlington National Cemetary last week.

Back up: Last week, Trump attended a ceremony to honor the 13 American servicemen killed during the hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan three years ago. Trump was invited by the families, as were Biden and Kamala, but the latter two did not attend.

  • Photos and videos of Trump expressing compassion for the families went viral on social media. This is why Kamala got nasty…

The details: Shortly after the visit, Kamala Harris and her surrogates in the corporate media attacked Trump for attending the event. Harris posted a statement on X, saying he “disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt.”

  • Her statement also repeated the debunked claim that Trump called fallen servicemembers “suckers” and “losers.” Evil woman.

Gold star families respond: Shortly after Harris’ attacks, the families of the fallen soldiers released a joint statement, saying: “Vice President Harris bears responsibility for the deaths of our sons and daughters. Despite our multiple requests for a meeting to discuss the loss of our loved ones, Vice President Harris has repeatedly ignored us, showing a complete lack of empathy and accountability… [Donald Trump’s] attendance at Arlington was not for political gain but to stand with us, to grieve with us, and to honor the legacy of those who gave everything for this nation.”

Trump posted eight video responses from family members of the servicemembers killed in the botched withdrawal. Here are some of their quotes:

  • Mark Schmitz, Gold Star Father of Lance Corporal Jared M. Schmitz, wrote: “Here we are on a beautiful holiday weekend day, I gotta stop what I’m doing, spending time with what’s left of my family, to address a heinous, vile, and disgusting post put out by Kamala Harris trying to incite those that don’t follow the truth.”

  • Steve Nikoui, Father of Lance Cpl. Kareem M. Nikoui, said: “You were not at Dover for the dignified transfer. At no time have you reached out to me to offer your condolences, to offer thank you for Kareem’s sacrifice and service.”

  • Christy Shamblin, mother-in-law of Sgt. Nicole Gee, asked, “Why won't you return a call and explain to us how you call my daughter-in-law's death a 'success'?

  • Herman Lopez, Gold Star Father of Corporal Hunter Lopez said: “It’s been three years since my son was killed [in] action and myself [and my family] have not seen any support from you or in your administration."

Big picture: Back in 2021, Harris bragged to CNN’s Dana Bash that she was the “last person in the room” when she and Biden decided to withdraw from Afghanistan.

Tim Walz big bro is ‘100% opposed’ to his politics

Kamala Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, faces surprising opposition — from his older brother. Jeff Walz openly criticized Tim on social media, saying he is not the "type of character" who should make decisions for our future.

The details: The revelations came to light after conservative journalist Laura Loomer discovered Jeff’s personal Facebook page and a post from March 30, 2023, where he wrote: "We've just become a third world banana republic" after Donald Trump’s first 34-count indictment in New York.

  • Loomer also noted that Jeff was a registered Republican and financial records show he donated to Trump in 2016.

Jeff speaks his mind: Jeff took to Facebook on Friday, where he continued to skewer his far-left brother, saying, “I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology." When someone responded, suggesting he endorse Trump publicly, he wrote:

  • “I’ve thought long and hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it."

  • The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.

Back up: Jeff and Tim Walz have not spoken in eight years after a falling out.

No courtesy: Jeff also shared: “My family wasn’t given any notice that he was selected."

Big picture: Anytime a second or third cousin has something negative to say about Donald Trump, the mainstream media makes it headline news. However as I write this, CNN has not used a drop of ink on this story.

Elon Musk vs. Brazil

The Brazilian government blocked Elon Musk’s social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), over the weekend after a ruling from the country’s far-left Supreme Court Justice.

Back up: Earlier this year, Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered that Musk censor posts on X which he claimed spread “disinformation.”

  • Musk refused to do Moraes’ bidding, claiming Brazil’s constitution protects political speech online.

  • Moraes responded by threatening to put X’s legal reps in jail. So Musk shut down the offices in Brazil and relocated his employees.

Fast forward to last week: Moraes decided that Musk must appoint a new legal representative for Brazil, or the government would shut down X.

  • Musk once again refused. So, Brazil banned the app.

  • Elon Musk responded, writing on X: “The tyrant, @Alexandre, is dictator of Brazil. Lula [the president] is his lapdog.”

X’s Global Government Affairs page responded by writing that Moraes made his ruling “because we would not comply with his illegal orders to censor his political opponents. These enemies include a duly elected Senator and a 16-year-old girl, among others.

How the ban works: Brazil’s telecommunications regulator, Anatel, instructed service providers to begin blocking X. Meanwhile, Apple and Google were given five days to block the platform from their app stores.

  • Brazilian citizens caught using a VPN to get around the block will be charged roughly $9,000 USD per day if they violate the order.

Zoom out: Roughly 20% of the Brazilian population (40 million people) use X.

Starlink also banned: Musk revealed that Brazil also froze the accounts of his satellite internet company, Starlink — even though it is not associated with X.

  • Musk responded to this news, writing on X: “Many remote schools and hospitals depend on SpaceX’s Starlink! SpaceX will provide Internet service to users in Brazil for free until this matter is resolved.”

Big picture: This comes one week after France jailed free-speech messaging app Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov. There is a war being waged over our right to speak freely online.
