Good morning, Wake Up Right fam. Overnight, a federal appeals court ruled that all Americans must refer to transgenders by their preferred pronouns — even if they identify as animals. Also, we must now refer to illegal aliens as “Undocumented VIPs.”

…April Fools, obviously. But in today’s climate, with federal judges acting more like dictators than arbiters of the Constitution, I bet I had a few of you going there for a second.

If the left takes this Supreme Court seat, they will redraw the Congressional districts in the state and essentially guarantee that two Republican-held House seats turn Democrat. And that makes it more likely we lose the House in 2026.

French courts jail populist leader, ban her from upcoming election

Marine Le Pen, the populist leader of France’s National Rally party, was sentenced to prison and a multi-year ban from politics as she leads opinion polls ahead of the country’s 2027 presidential election.

The details: On Monday, Paris courts found Le Pen guilty of embezzling European Parliament funds [we’ll discuss later] and sentenced to:

• four years in prison

• five-year ban from politics

• $100,000 fine

Leading presidential candidate: The conviction and ban from politics comes as the latest French opinion polls place her in first for the next presidential race, leading all other challengers by at least 10 points.

Who is Le Pen: She is a Trumpian figure who brings a “France First” political ideology to a nation that has been led by globalists for the past decade. She favors economic nationalism, is anti-immigration, and is skeptical of the European Union cartel.

Growing trend of judicial fascism: Across Europe, the left has used the courts to ban right-wing and populist leaders from running. Most notably:

• Romania: Earlier this month, right-wing politician Calin Georgescu was barred from its upcoming presidential election after the same court annulled his election win last year.

• Brazil: Brazil's former right-wing President, Jair Bolsonaro, was just ordered to stand trial on charges that he planned a "coup" to stay in office after his 2022 loss.

Sound familiar? It all seems eerily reminiscent of what we saw happen to Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election.

Real talk from G: Le Pen’s charges are… bullsh*t. The court said she misappropriated European Union (EU) funds to pay National Rally party staff. As the Wall Street Journal points out, between 019 and 2022, 139 European lawmakers — ONE IN FIVE — likely misused EU allowances the way Le Pen allegedly did. The only difference is that Le Pen was targeted and charged.

What happens next? Le Pen will likely see her prison sentence cut to two years and be allowed to opt for ankle bracelet monitoring. However, the ban on politics goes into effect immediately. Even if she appeals, she will be prohibited through the process, likely causing her to miss the election.

The last word goes to Elon Musk, who summarized what we're witnessing in a post on X, writing: "When the radical left can’t win via democratic vote, they abuse the legal system to jail their opponents. This is their standard playbook throughout the world."

Toddler kicked out of nursery for being transphobic

A toddler was kicked out of a U.K. nursery for being transphobic, and according to government records, there were nearly 100 others who were suspended or removed.

The details: According to U.K. Department of Education data, during the 2022-23 school year, a child aged 3 or 4 was expelled for “abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity.” 

An epidemic of baby bigots: Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. Government records show that 94 kids at similar schools were suspended or removed for transphobia or homophobia in the same year — all under age eight.

What the UK DOE says: They issued a statement saying, “All pupils and staff should feel safe and protected at school and should never face violence or abuse.”

…staff must be protected from the 3-year-olds!

UK schools trans-programming kids: In 2022, Sally and Nigel Rowe received a letter from a Church of England school saying their sons would be labeled "transphobic" for refusing to believe one of their transgender classmates was a "real" male or female.

The last word goes to Helen Joyce, director of advocacy at Sex Matters, who said: “Teachers and school leaders involved in this insanity should be ashamed of themselves for projecting adult concepts and beliefs on to such young children.”
