Shooter tries to kill Trump at White House Correspondents’ Dinner
A gunman opened fire at the White House Correspondents' Dinner Saturday night, wounding a Secret Service agent in what marks the third assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in two years.
The details: Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of California, stormed the Washington Hilton with a shotgun, handgun, and multiple knives roughly 60-100 yards from where Trump and 3,000 guests were gathered. Trump was rushed off the dais and is unharmed.
Allen checked into the hotel a day before the dinner to evade perimeter checks.
He used a hotel staircase to bypass security screening.
He sent a manifesto to his family just hours before opening fire.
The Secret Service agent – saved by his bulletproof vest – is in stable condition.
Who he is: Allen wasn't a random "lone wolf." He was an ideologically driven left-wing radical who explicitly named Trump and his administration as targets.
Called himself the "Friendly Federal Assassin” and labeled Trump a "pedophile, rapist, and traitor"

Lax security: In the shooter’s manifesto, he highlighted the poor security, writing:
“The security at the event is all outside, focused on protestors and current arrivals, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before. Like, this level of incompetence is insane, and I very sincerely hope it’s corrected by the time this country gets actually competent leadership again. Like, if I was an Iranian agent, instead of an American citizen, I could have brought a damn Ma Deuce in here and no one would have noticed shit. Actually insane.”
Obama spreads lies: Despite the manifesto, the donations, and the protest history, former President Barack Obama posted on X that "we don't yet have the details about the motives." He pivoted to condemning violence "broadly" and praising the Secret Service.
Online liberals are worse: Left-wingers on social media spread batsh*t conspiracy theories that this was a "false flag" staged by Trump. I've seen people I know share them. It's a level of cope that speaks to how unglued the left has become from reality.
You know it’s bad when far-far-left MSNOW journalist Eugene Daniels called them out, saying: "It is frustrating, and it’s disturbing, and it shows that the issues that we have to try and fix in this country."

The media and Democrats have spent a decade telling unstable people that Trump is an existential evil who must be stopped. Some of them are going to believe it. Some of them are going to act on it. And then the same people who lit the match will go on TV and tell us the motive is "unclear."
