Trump sends the National Guard to 19 states

Up to 1,700 National Guardsmen will be deployed across 19 states to support the Department of Homeland Security in enforcing President Donald Trump’s push to crack down on illegal immigration and crime, Pentagon officials confirmed.

The details: According to Fox News, the National Guardsmen will serve as support for “a sweeping federal crime and immigration crackdown that is underway now” by Homeland Security.

  • The report added: “The service members supporting ICE will be performing case management, transportation, logistical support, and clerical functions associated with the processing of illegal migrants at the facilities.”

Where they're headed: According to documents viewed by Fox News, the states will include: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.

Zoom out: Since Trump federalized the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), all violent crime is down 40% and more than 700 criminals have been arrested, including a top MS-13 gang leader.

Sidequest: Trump also hinted at D.C.-style crackdowns in liberal strongholds. Speaking on Friday from the Oval Office, he said, "I think Chicago will be our next. And then we'll help with New York."

Key revelations from Ghislaine Maxwell interview

The Department of Justice released hours of interviews with Ghislaine Maxwell on Friday, where the convicted Jeffrey Epstein accomplice dished on his suicide, the Clintons, and whether she'd ever seen President Donald Trump do anything inappropriate.

The setting: Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, sat down with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for two days of interviews from her prison in Tallahassee.

On President Trump: Maxwell was asked about her interactions with Trump when he knew Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s. She said:

  • "I don't recall seeing [Trump] in [Epstein's] house, for instance. I actually never saw the President in any type of massage setting. I never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way… In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects."

Did Epstein kill himself? Maxwell said: “I think, is [suicide] possible? Of course it’s possible. But I don’t know of any reason why, and I don’t believe in the blackmail or in any of this. I don’t think Epstein had a hit on [him] like that. I do not believe he died by suicide, no.

Her father was a spy: There has long been speculation around whether Jeffrey Epstein was working with government intelligence, and Maxwell fueled that speculation when asked if she had any contact with Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, answering: “Well, not deliberately.

Clinton Global Initiative: Maxwell admitted to Blanche that she and Epstein helped launch the Clinton Global Initiative: "I was part of the beginning process of the Clinton Global Initiative... And Epstein may have helped me help them."

The client list: Maxwell denied that Epstein kept a "client list" or stockpile of blackmail materials against prominent figures, adding:

  • "This is one man. He's not some – they've made him into this. He's not that interesting. He's a disgusting guy who did terrible things to young kids."

The last word goes to President Trump, who, speaking in the Oval Office on Friday, advocated for transparency, saying: "I'm in support of keeping it totally open. I couldn't care less... I have said to Pam and everybody else, 'Give them everything you can give them.'"

A few months ago, I was at a butcher in my neighborhood and saw a diagram of a cow, with all the cuts of meat labeled. And that gave me an idea for a t-shirt:

DOGE Butcher Shop — but instead of the cow, we use a pig. And the cuts of meat in the diagram represent all the waste, fraud, and abuse being butchered by the Trump admin.

Over the last few weeks, I worked with a really talented graphic designer who brought it to life. And on Friday I got a sample in the mail and I’m happy to say, it came out better than I’d hoped.

Also, my wife told me I had to mention that the t-shirt it’s printed on is Comfort Colors. Apparently, they’re well-known for high-quality materials. I just chose them because they are printed in the U.S. and made with 100 U.S. cotton.
