HHS will probe link between trans drugs and violence

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is investigating whether psychiatric and gender-transition medications could have played a role in Wednesday’s Minneapolis Catholic school shooting that left two children dead and 17 others wounded.
The details: Kennedy said HHS has launched studies into how psychiatric and hormone-related drugs might affect violent behavior. He said:
“I certainly consider mass shootings a health crisis, and we are doing for the first time real studies to find out what the ideology of that is. And we're looking for the first time at psychiatric drugs.”
“Something changed, and it dramatically changed human behavior. We are the most over-medicated nation in the world… and we will have an answer.”
Zoom out: The shooter, Robin Westman, a 23-year-old transgender person, left behind writings expressing regret over transitioning and despair over being “brain-washed.”
Back up: Recent cases echo the pattern: Nashville’s 2023 Covenant school shooter and Houston’s 2024 Lakewood Church attacker were both transgender.
Big picture: Kennedy’s probe would be the first federal study of psychiatric and transition drugs in connection with mass shootings – something the political and medical establishment has refused to look into.

Dark money fuels Dem influencer army

A new report reveals a secretive Democrat-aligned dark money network is quietly paying social media influencers up to $8,000 a month to amplify left-wing talking points.
The details: The program, called the Chorus Creator Incubator, is tied to the Sixteen Thirty Fund — the left’s biggest dark money hub, long compared to the Koch network. WIRED, which broke this story, wrote:
"In a private group chat in June, dozens of Democratic political influencers discussed whether to take advantage of an enticing opportunity. They were being offered $8,000 per month to take part in a secretive program aimed at bolstering Democratic messaging on the internet."
Influencers include: Olivia Julianna (pictured above), YouTuber David Pakman, teacher Arielle Fodor (1.4M TikTok followers), Leigh McGowan (known as Politics Girl), meme creator Barrett Adair, and many more.
The rub: The program forbade creators from disclosing they were being paid or naming the funders.
Zoom out: The secrecy protects Democrats from disclosure rules that apply to traditional political ads and undercuts transparency about who is paying for political messages seen by millions online.
The numbers: Chorus Creator Incubator boasted a collective reach of 40 million followers and 100 million weekly views.
The Sixteen Thirty Fund has funneled nearly $1 BILLION into Democratic causes since 2018. Arabella Advisors, a close ally of George Soros’ Open Society, is one of their top funders.
What they're saying: Sixteen Thirty Fund told the NY Post: “The fiscal sponsorship model is common across philanthropy and our work with Chorus is in compliance with all laws."
Real talk from G: Democrats are incredibly envious of the right's online political influencer machine. But names like Charlie Kirk, Jack Posobiec, or Allie Beth Stuckey were not products of coordinated, well-funded campaigns. They grew their audiences organically by posting authentic, accessible information online. The left is desperate to catch up, but you can’t buy grassroots trust - it has to be earned.

A few months ago, I was at a butcher in my neighborhood and saw a diagram of a cow, with all the cuts of meat labeled. And that gave me an idea for a t-shirt:
DOGE Butcher Shop — but instead of the cow, we use a pig. And the cuts of meat in the diagram represent all the waste, fraud, and abuse being butchered by the Trump admin.
Over the last few weeks, I worked with a really talented graphic designer who brought it to life. And on Friday I got a sample in the mail and I’m happy to say, it came out better than I’d hoped.
Also, my wife told me I had to mention that the t-shirt it’s printed on is Comfort Colors. Apparently, they’re well-known for high-quality materials. I just chose them because they are printed in the U.S. and made with 100 U.S. cotton.
