Simping for a coward; The gross reaction to UnitedHealth CEOâs murder
26-year-old Luigi Mangione was charged in the cowardly murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, as the left embraces violence and vigilantism.
Murder and arrest: Thompson, 50, was shot outside a New York City hotel on December 4. Mangione approached him from behind while hiding his identity and shot the CEO several times, who leaves behind a wife and two teenage children.
Mangione was spotted at a Pennsylvania McDonalds by employees who called the police. During his arrest, the killer appeared to have peed his pants.
Who is the killer? Luigi Mangione is a product of privilege. His parents were extremely wealthy, went to an Ivy League school, and traveled the world.
According to police reports, Mangione was motivated by his hatred for "corporate greed" and viewed the murder as "a symbolic takedown" of the healthcare giant.
It appears he may have been motivated by chronic back pain and a recent spinal surgery. Following the surgery, "he went radio silent," according to a former roommate.
Simping for a coward: Somewhere between Americaâs obsession with serial killer podcasts [I donât get this obsession] and distaste for corporate greed [Iâm with you there], this spineless murderer found a warped kind of support - from Reddit threads passing his actions to left-wing journalists like Taylor Lorenz who said the murder brought her âjoyâ and MSNBCâs Joy Reid who claimed that conservatism "justified violence."
The Leftâs growing obsession with vigilantism: Five months ago, a left-wing lunatic tried to assassinate Donald Trump. Two months later, another left-wing lunatic tried to kill then-candidate Trump at his Palm Beach golf course. One year ago, a left-wing transgender lunatic shot up a Catholic elementary school, killing six. And just this week, Black Lives Matter (BLM) leaders were calling for âBlack vigilantes.â
Big picture: While this violence unfolds, Democrats, the Department of Justice, and the media insist that âright-wing extremismâ is the nationâs greatest threat. The reality? The leftâs escalating fascination with justifiable assassination is a sign of their growing disconnect from the pulse of the nationâand their inability to reflect on their own role in fostering division.
Real talk from G: I understand people's impulse to support this guy. But the cold-blooded murder of a CEO âa cog in the wheelâainât it. You address these issues by voting for candidates like Donald Trump, who puts fighters like RFK Jr. in positions of power.
Heroes confront problems head-on. They donât sneak up from behind and piss themselves when theyâve been caught.
Left-wing âSquadâ members urge Biden to commute sentences for death row killers
House Democrats are urging Joe Biden, in his final month in office, to commute the death sentences of 40 federal inmates, including high-profile killers like Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
The details: Far-left "Squad" members Rep. Ayanna Pressley and Cori Bush called on Biden to commute every federal inmate currently sitting on death row. This includes killers like:
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber
Daniel Troya, who killed a family, including two kids
Marvin Gabrion, who kidnapped and murdered a teenager
Robert Bower,s who murdered 11 Jewish Americans
From the horsesâ mouths:
Rep. Ayanna Pressley: âState-sanctioned murder is not justice. The death penalty is a cruel, racist, and flawed punishment.â
Rep. Cori Bush: Called the practice âbarbaricâ and âweaponized against Black and brown communities.â
Big picture: This story dovetails with the previous story about the UnitedHealthcare CEO killer â with the common thread being the leftâs open-armed approach to our nationâs most heinous killers.
