Three revelations from a wild Trump & Musk press conference

President Donald Trump and Elon Musk appeared together in the Oval Office, where the pair took questions about the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) as Democrats and their co-conspirators in the media lash out against the waste-finding initiative.
Time out: In case you’re wondering who the cut kid in the picture above is, that’s Musk’s son, X. Yes, he named his son X lol.
The details: The event began with Trump signing executive orders related to how federal agencies will work with DOGE and turned into an impromptu 30-minute Q&A where he broke some major stories. Let’s dive into some of the biggest…
150-year-olds getting Social Security: Musk revealed that DOGE discovered Social Security payments to Americans who would be 150 years old today. He said:
"We've got people in there that are 150 years old. Do you know anyone that's 150? I don't... I think they're probably dead, is my guess, or they should be very famous, one of the two."
Retirement in the [lime]Stone Age: Musk revealed that his team was told the federal government can only retire 10,000 workers per month because the paperwork is done in a literal mine from the 1950s:
"The most number of people that could retire possibly in a month is 10,000... because all that all the retirement paperwork is manual on paper... Then it goes down a mine... there’s a limestone mine… the limiting factor is the speed at which the mine shaft elevator can move determines how many people can retire from the federal government."
This was confirmed by left-wing Mediaite.
Slashing the federal budget deficit in half: Musk said that “with the support of the President, we can we can cut the budget deficit in half from two trillion to one.”
Musk added that the budget cut, paired with economic growth of “maybe three or four percent, maybe five percent,” the U.S. could find itself with zero inflation as we enter 2026.
Zoom out: Trump noted that in its first weeks, DOGE has uncovered "billions of dollars in waste, fraud and abuse" and believes the final tally could be "close to a trillion dollars." This is precisely what Democrats are afraid of.
The last word goes back to Musk, who defended DOGE, saying: “If the people cannot vote and have their will be decided by their elected representatives… then we don’t live in a Democracy. We live in a bureaucracy.”

The AI Stock Poised to Soar Under Trump’s $500B Plan
Nvidia was a standout opportunity back in February 2019, delivering a massive 490% return.
Now, there's another under-the-radar AI stock, 2,500x smaller than Nvidia, with significant potential. And with Trump’s recent $500 billion AI push, the timing couldn’t be better.

Disney dumps DEI

Disney is pulling the plug on its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts — joining the long list of U.S. companies that have abandoned their woke policies following President Donald Trump's election victory.
The details: According to an internal member from Disney’s chief human resources officer Sonia Coleman, the company is scrapping several DEI-related initiatives, including:
Removing the “Reimagine Tomorrow” program, which aimed to amplify "underrepresented communities.”
Eliminating “Diversity & Inclusion” in hiring as a factor tied to executive compensation.
Refocusing “Business Employee Resource Groups” away from race/gender and toward workplace culture.
Replacing content disclaimers on older movies like Dumbo and Peter Pan, which used to warn viewers the films “include negative depictions and/or mistreatment of peoples or cultures.”
Back up: In 2021, journalist Chris Rufo uncovered Disney training documents that insisted America was founded on "systemic racism" and told employees to embrace "equity" over equality.
Disney went overboard: In 2022, Bob Iger returned as CEO following box office flops from films pushing a progressive agenda and controversies, such as a leaked meeting detailing the company's "not-at-all-secret gay agenda" for children's content.
The last word goes to the returning Disney CEO, who told shareholders in 2023 that the company’s mission “should not be agenda-driven, it should be entertainment-driven.”
Money talks: Disney might be making amends, but it only came after losing billions of dollars on movies with woke themes:
