Another month, another record set. CBP just dropped their June data on illegal border crossings and revealed just 6,072 illegals were apprehended at the southern border – that’s the lowest number ever recorded in U.S. history.

Even better: Zero were released into the homeland.

For perspective: Under the Biden regime, we were regularly seeing over 200,000 illegals entering the country every month.

There’s a new sheriff in town, thankfully.

  • 🚮 21% of voters believe the DOJ’s Epstein report

  • 📈 U.S. inflation increased slightly to 2.7% in June

  • 🇪🇸 70% of Spaniards want mass deportations of illegals

  • 🗓️ JFK Jr. was killed in a plane crash on this day in 1999

  • ❤️‍🩹 69%: Insurers have too much influence on health policy

Big Don Energy summit

President Donald Trump announced over $90 billion in private-sector investments in artificial intelligence (AI) and energy infrastructure yesterday – saying it will help fulfill the United States’ “destiny” to dominate tech and AI.

The details: The Pennsylvania Energy & Innovation Summit, held at Carnegie Mellon University, featured pledges from tech and energy giants to supercharge Pennsylvania’s role in powering America’s AI future. A few of the big names include:

  • Google: $25B for AI data centers in 13 states, plus $3B to refurbish two PA hydro plants.

  • Blackstone: $25B for AI centers and natural gas infrastructure.

  • Homer City Redevelopment: $15 billion for power generation

  • FirstEnergy: $15B to boost grid capacity across 56 counties.

  • CoreWeave: $6B for a new data center in Lancaster.

  • Westinghouse: $6B for 10 new nuclear reactors.

Pennsylvania shift: Senator Dave McCormick, who used to lead a major hedge fund, helped court these investments in order to create an "economic renissance" for his state as it seeks to become a leader in AI.

Zoom out: President Trump is delivering for a pivotal swing state that backed him 50.4% to Kamala’s 48.7% – helping secure his 2024 comeback.

Why Pennsylvania? Tech and energy dominance are cornerstones of Trump’s economic vision. It takes massive amounts of energy to power artificial intelligence, and he believes the solution lies in co-locating energy production with tech. Natural gas-rich Pennsylvania is uniquely positioned to execute on that strategy.

What the left is saying: Democrat Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro expressed skepticism, saying he would essentially hold his breath until "shovels go into the ground." This is called: hating from the sidelines.

Destiny: President Trump stressed his belief that it is “America’s destiny… to dominate every industry and be the first in every technology. That includes being the world’s No. 1 superpower in Artificial Intelligence.”

Apple backs Trump’s rare earth revival

Apple announced a $500 million investment in MP Materials – a major development in President Donald Trump’s mission to end our reliance on Chinese rare earth minerals.

What is MP Materials? They are the United States’ only rare earth mineral mine. It operates in the Mojave Desert, refining and manufacturing critical magnets used in electronics, batteries, vehicles, medical equipment, and military defense systems.

The details: Apple’s deal with MP will net the tech giant access to critical magnets needed to manufacture products like the iPhone, beginning in 2027.

  • Apple and MP plan to collaborate on a new manufacturing plant in Fort Worth, Texas.

  • It also includes access to a recycling facility to extract minerals from used electronics.

Back up: Earlier this month, the Pentagon announced a $400 million investment in MP Materials, reflecting President Trump’s directive to secure independence in key defense-related supply chains.

Zoom out: China currently dominates the global rare earth market, producing 60% and processing up to 90% of the total supply.

Big picture: Since taking office Trump has been relentless in his persuit of building a domestic supply chain for rare earth minerals. Earlier this year, he authorized the Defense Production Act to accelerate domestic mining. And he's used tariffs and trade to promote domestic supply. Apple getting on board is a very big win.

A few months ago, I was at a butcher in my neighborhood and saw a diagram of a cow, with all the cuts of meat labeled. And that gave me an idea for a t-shirt:

DOGE Butcher Shop — but instead of the cow, we use a pig. And the cuts of meat in the diagram represent all the waste, fraud, and abuse being butchered by the Trump admin.

Over the last few weeks, I worked with a really talented graphic designer who brought it to life. And on Friday I got a sample in the mail and I’m happy to say, it came out better than I’d hoped.

Also, my wife told me I had to mention that the t-shirt it’s printed on is Comfort Colors. Apparently, they’re well-known for high-quality materials. I just chose them because they are printed in the U.S. and made with 100 U.S. cotton.
