• Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, told conservative host Benny Johnson that the President "will set things right" and said "they'll probably try to get out sooner rather than later. Because they hear [the outrage] and they understand it."

• Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino reportedly returned to work on Monday after a blow-up with AG Pam Bondi over the Epstein files last week and is working on a "very important" project.

Biden’s autopen scandal intensifies

A fresh report from the New York Times is fuelling allegations that unelected Biden regime officials abused the auto pen to sign off on hundreds of commutations and pardons not reviewed by Joe Biden.

What is an autopen? It's a device that automatically signs documents using the president’s pre-approved signature.

The details: In a lengthy interview, Biden told the New York Times he did authorize the “standards” for which he would grant commutations and pardons, but “did not individually approve each name.” 

• Biden also confirmed the wide use of an autopen for the signatures.

The scheme: Biden officials claim he approved the standards by which the Bureau of Prisons would provide inmates eligible for pardons (for example, non-violent drug offenders). But every time the list was updated with new names, they would not run it by him and instead send it directly to the autopen.

• Biden did personally approve the pardons for his family, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and General Mark Milley.

The numbers: At the end of his term, Biden's aides funnelled 4,000 federal convicts through the autopen for pardons and commutations.

• These included some high-level violent criminals like Adrian Peeler, who was convicted of conspiracy to kill a mother and her son.

Zoom out: In recent months, the White House, DOJ, and Congress have launched investigations into Biden aides who may have abused the autopen – either without his knowledge or by exploiting his cognitive decline.

• During a Congressional hearing last week, Biden’s doctor pleaded the Fifth when asked about his cognitive decline.

• The National Archives has turned over tens of thousands of White House emails to Congress that contained the words “pardon” and “commutation” from between November 2024 and January 20, 2025.

Real talk from G: The law says the President can use an autopen, but only if he personally authorizes it. Will Republicans prove Biden’s indirect sign-off on those pardons and commutations was illegal? I hope so. But that’s not the entire point. This investigation ensures creeps like Fauci and Hunter never get to sleep easy. It ensures that Democrats are subjected to the same legal harassment that Republicans endure every time the left is in power.

The last word goes to President Donald Trump, who said: "The autopen is maybe one of the biggest scandals we've had in 50 to 100 years.... [Biden's advisors are] sick people, and I guarantee it, he knew nothing about what he was signing. I guarantee it.”

Dem DA won’t charge trans sex predator who tried to abduct a child

A left-wing Colorado District Attorney (DA) plans to drop charges against a transgender sex offender accused of trying to abduct a child from an elementary school.

The details: Solomon Galligan, 33, a registered sex offender, was caught on surveillance video entering the playground at Black Forest Hills Elementary in Aurora in April 2024.

• The creep tried to snatch a young child but tripped and took off running. He was later found by police.

Incompetent: After a court-ordered evaluation, Galligan was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and found mentally incompetent to stand trial.

• Galligan will instead be sent to a mental health treatment facility.

Back up: Galligan was previously placed on the sex offender registry after being convicted of non-consensual sexual contact. He’s been in and out of jail for 12 years.

Did I mention he’s trans too? Galligan began hormone treatments in 2011 and publicly identified as transgender.

Backlash: DA Amy Padden, a Democrat, has faced fierce backlash for her decision to let Galligan skirt jail time.

• Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky, a Republican, is leading a recall effort, saying her "progressive attitude will not be tolerated."

The last word goes to Solomon's own niece, who told reporters: “This has been like the fourth time… How the hell did he get released?”
