Good morning, Wake Up Right fam! Anyone else notice much less pride this PRIDE Month? It’s not in your head.

A recent survey found that roughly 40% of companies are scaling back their Pride Month celebrations, and many corporate sponsors have pulled out of events in big cities like NYC and Philadelphia. 

I think America is collectively saying: We don’t need a month to celebrate someone’s sexual preferences while veterans get one day.

Trump wrestles the middle class from Democrats

A new CNN poll finds that President Donald Trump has helped Republicans erase the Democrats’ grasp on the American middle class.

The details: The poll found 32% of respondents say Republicans are the party of the middle class, just shy of Democrats' 34%.

Perspective: In 1989, Democrats held a 23-point lead in this category.

Big, beautiful quote: CNN pollster Harry Enten summed it up, telling viewers: “Democrats used to own the middle class. No more. Trump has taken that mantle away.”

What’s driving the shift? President Trump built a middle-class coalition by promoting tax cuts, reducing regulations, and encouraging U.S. manufacturing. He pushed for policies like no taxes on tips and overtime pay, aiming to help workers.

Big picture: Trump’s policies and personality have shifted the Republican party from Wall Street to Main Street, where the middle class lives, works, and votes.

Operation Patriot

ICE just executed ‘Operation Patriot’ — its largest operation ever — with 1,461 illegal aliens arrested across Massachusetts, including many with violent criminal records.

The details: Operation Patriot was a months-long collaboration between ICE, FBI, DEA, ATF, and U.S. Marshals Service across multiple Massachusetts communities, including Boston, Worcester, and Springfield.

The numbers: 790 individuals had criminal convictions or pending charges, including offenses such as drug trafficking, sexual assault, and murder.

  • 277 had previously been ordered removed from the U.S. but remained in the country.

Quote: Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told the press: “It really shocks me that officials all over Massachusetts would rather release sex offenders, fentanyl dealers, drug dealers, human traffickers, and child rapists back into the neighborhoods.”

Examples: Lyons shared examples of some of the illegal aliens apprehended, including:

  • a child sex offender who was released and went back to living across the street from a playground

  • a sex trafficker who raped a child and was released

  • a habitual drunk driver who kidnapped a child

Back up: Prior to this, Operation Tidal Wave in Florida was the largest operation ICE had run, netting 1,120 arrests.

Sanctuary for criminals: Massachusetts has become a safe harbor for illegal aliens under Governor Maura Healey. While it doesn’t classify itself as a “sanctuary state,” the Commonwealth has policies to limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

The last word goes to Acting ICE Field Office Director Patricia Hyde, who told the press: “When states and local jurisdictions don’t cooperate with ICE and they let bad actors walk out into the communities, they let child rapists just walk back out [on] $500 bail. That is sanctuary.”

A few months ago, I was at a butcher in my neighborhood and saw a diagram of a cow, with all the cuts of meat labeled. And that gave me an idea for a t-shirt:

DOGE Butcher Shop — but instead of the cow, we use a pig. And the cuts of meat in the diagram represent all the waste, fraud, and abuse being butchered by the Trump admin.

Over the last few weeks, I worked with a really talented graphic designer who brought it to life. And on Friday I got a sample in the mail and I’m happy to say, it came out better than I’d hoped.
