Good morning, Wake Up Right fam! President Trump announced on Truth Social last night that re-runs of his hit TV show ‘The Apprentice’ will begin airing on Amazon Prime.

Personally, I think he should reboot the show. Film it in the Oval Office, and every week, we get to watch him fire swampy-rat bureaucrats and partisan federal judges.

Trump turns Biden’s illegal immigration app into a deportation app

The Trump administration has officially rebranded the Biden-era CBP One app — once used to help foreigners enter the U.S. — into a tool to encourage illegal aliens to self-deport.

The details: The app has been renamed 'CBP Home' and allows illegal aliens to submit an intent to depart and verify their exit, with DHS tracking for enforcement if necessary. If an illegal already has the Biden-era app, it will auto-update.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said: “The Biden Administration exploited the CBP One app to allow more than 1 million aliens to illegally enter the United States. With the launching of the CBP Home app, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system.”

Cost-benefit analysis: Illegals who self-deport retain eligibility to return to the U.S. legally. But those who don't will be pursued by law enforcement, deported, and not allowed to return.

Back up: President Trump terminated the use of the CBP One app on his first day in office. Before his order, the Biden regime used it to “parole” over 1 million illegals into the country under mostly erroneous asylum claims.

Zoom out: In February, Trump’s first full month in office, just 8,326 people tried to illegally cross the southern border — the lowest number ever recorded.

Big picture: This is just one part of Trump's broader crackdown on illegal immigration, which includes removing criminal illegal aliens, encouraging self-deportation, and securing the southern border.

Trump admin axes 83% of swampy USAID spending

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced more than 4/5 of USAID programs have been canceled following a six-week review, eliminating tens of billions in taxpayer-funded projects that were harmful to U.S. interests.

The details: In a post on X, Rubio shared that 83% of programs — 5,200 total contracts — for the USAID have been canceled because they “did not serve, (and in some cases even harmed), the core national interests of the United States.”

The remaining 18% — roughly 1,000 — will now be run through the State Department.

Elon Musk responded to Rubio, writing: “Tough, but necessary. Good working with you. The important parts of USAID should always have been with Dept of State.”

Zoom out: In fiscal year 2023, USAID doled out $72 billion of aid worldwide.

Swamp spending: The cuts come after Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) discovered how USAID was spending taxpayer dollars on woke and sometimes dangerous projects like:
