Happy Friday, Wake Up Right fam! Starting this June, the U.S. will print $100 bills with President Trump’s signature alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Prescedent-shift: Traditionally, the bills feature the signatures of the Treasury Secretary and the U.S. Treasurer.
Why the change? The new bills will be issued to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence. The bills in print today still feature Biden-era Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
Here’s an idea: If you’ve got a liberal in your life and you don’t know what to give them for their birthday – how about a crisp $100 bill with President Trump’s autograph on it?

Did Republicans blink on the DHS bill? It’s complicated

The Senate passed a partial DHS funding bill overnight, reopening TSA and the Coast Guard but leaving ICE and Border Patrol without funding – and giving Democrats a political win to brag about. But it’s not a total loss for the GOP…
The details: In a rare overnight session, the Senate passed the bill by unanimous consent, funding TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and CISA.
👎 The bad: No funding for ICE and Border Patrol
👍 The good: Democrats got none of the policy concessions they wanted: ICE agents can continue to wear masks. No judicial warrants are required for arrests.
Zoom out: By Thursday, TSA absences reached 40% at some airports; 480+ officers quit during the shutdown.
Why it's complicated: ICE and CBP aren't actually out of money. Republicans pre-funded immigration enforcement through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act last year, anticipating exactly this fight.
Furthermore, the GOP plans to include funding for the two critical immigration enforcement agencies in a forthcoming reconciliation bill. That means it’ll require just 51 votes in the Senate – preventing the Democrats from filibustering.
What Trump thinks: The White House signalled that the President is supportive of this approach.
Real talk from G: Republicans took a short-term political L to clean up the mess at U.S. airports. But ICE and CBP are still funded, with a clear runway to re-up later this year. It’s a wash. And you know it's a wash because the bill was passed about four hours ago, and neither Minority Leader Chuck Schumer nor Majority Leader John Thune is taking a victory lap on X (as I write this at 7:30 AM ET).

Ukraine may have plotted to funnel your tax dollars to Biden’s re-election

U.S. intelligence intercepted Ukrainian government communications outlining a scheme to launder hundreds of millions in American tax dollars through USAID and into Joe Biden's 2024 re-election campaign – and the Biden regime apparently never investigated it.
The details: Ukrainian officials and unnamed U.S. government personnel allegedly cooked up the plan to take American taxpayer dollars earmarked for a Ukrainian infrastructure project, run them through USAID's Kyiv office, and quietly redirect roughly 90% into Biden's campaign and the DNC.
Timeline: The intercepts date to late 2022.
The kicker: Nobody in the Biden regime appears to have looked into this – even after U.S. spies picked it up. Hm, I wonder why?
President Trump amplified the story, posting a link on Truth Social with the headline: “U.S. intercepted Ukraine government messages discussing plot to route money to Biden re-election”
Back up: This isn't Ukraine's first brush with Biden family corruption. Hunter Biden pocketed millions while sitting on the board of Burisma – a Ukrainian energy company – while his father was VP and overseeing U.S. policy toward Kyiv.
Zoom out: Ukraine's corruption problem isn't new. In 2025, anti-corruption investigators blew open a $100 million embezzlement scheme at the state nuclear company, implicating officials tied to Zelensky's inner circle.
What’s next? Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is now asking USAID to dig through its records – and will decide whether to hand this off to the FBI.
