Good morning, Wake Up Right fam! While the left dusts off their old N-95 masks and starts social distancing over fears of the Hantavirus, President Donald Trump is tossing cold water on the pandemic fear mongers.
When asked about it yesterday, he said:
“It’s much harder to catch [than Covid]… It’s been around for a long time. People are very familiar with it. So, you know, I hope it’s fine… we’ve lived with it for years, many years. And we think we’re in very good shape.”
Don’t stock up on toilet paper yet, libs.

U.S. State Department Rejects U.N. Migration Scam

The Trump administration torched the United Nations' global migration agenda – accusing UN agencies of running a coordinated operation to flood the U.S. and Europe with illegal aliens while sabotaging deportations.
The details: On Monday, the State Department formally rejected the UN's International Migration Review Forum and refused to sign the May 8 "progress" declaration on the Global Compact on Migration.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio's department condemned the forum as a vehicle for "replacement immigration in the United States and across the broader West."
It pledged that under President Donald Trump, U.S. policy will "facilitate remigration — not replacement migration."
How the UN facilitates migration: The State Department directly accused UN agencies of engineering the migration surge – and then sticking American taxpayers with the bill.
"Much of this was driven by UN agencies and their partners, which did not just facilitate the invasion of our country, but proceeded to redistribute our own people's wealth and resources to millions of foreigners from the worst corners of the world."
Why it matters: The Trump administration didn’t simply opt not to sign – it named the UN as an active participant in the border crisis.
Back up: President Trump also rejected the Global Compact on Migration in 2017, during his first term.
The cost of mass migration, by the numbers:
🇺🇸 U.S. households headed by non-citizens use at least one major welfare program, compared to 37.3% of native-born Americans.
🇸🇪 In Sweden, which has the highest per capita rate of rape rate in Europe, 58% of rape and attempted-rape convictions were committed by foreign-born migrants.
The last word: The State Department press release, which reads: “As Secretary Rubio said, opening our doors to mass migration was a grave mistake that threatens the cohesion of our societies and the future of our peoples.”

Manchurian Mayor spied for China

A sitting California mayor just admitted she was secretly taking orders from China – running a fake "local news" website to push Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda on American soil while climbing the political ladder in Los Angeles County.
The details: Eileen Wang, the now-former mayor of Arcadia, California, will plead guilty to acting as an illegal agent of the People's Republic of China. Federal prosecutors say she took direct orders from CCP officials from 2020 to 2022 – before winning a city council seat that fall.
📰 Wang and her then-fiancé ran a website called U.S. News Center, posing as a Chinese-American news outlet. Beijing handlers sent pre-written articles; she posted them and reported back the view counts.
💬 In one exchange after she published an article denying the Xinjiang genocide, the handler said, "So fast, thank you everyone,” to which Wang replied, "Thank you, leader."
What happens next? She faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Strategy: Arcadia is a small suburb of LA – not a metropolitan power center. China's playbook increasingly targets city councils, school boards, and state legislatures, where vetting is light, and influence is cheap. Sounds like George Soros’ strategy.
Zoom out: The FBI calls China's infiltration of local governments its top counterintelligence threat. The DOJ has charged a wave of CCP agents posing as journalists, activists, and political operatives.
Related: This comes amid a New York Times report that revealed a Chinese spy offered a staffer on the House Select Committee on China a $10,000 bribe for insider information.
