Biden diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer

Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. The advanced stage has led some medical experts to speculate that the disease may have been present for some time.

The details: A statement from Biden's Personal Office released Sunday afternoon read: “On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

• The good news: The statement also revealed that “the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.”

• President Trump weighed in on Truth Social: “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”

This next part is uncomfortable because we want to be respectful, but we have to ask the questions:

Controversy: Several medical experts have questioned whether Biden’s medical team missed the diagnosis or concealed it from the public since a prostate blood test usually detects the cancer early — long before it spreads.

• Dr. Howard Forman (Yale): “It is inconceivable that this was not being followed before he left the Presidency.

• Dr. Steven Quay (former Stanford University): “It would be malpractice to not test [for prostate cancer] in a male US President… It is a 5 to 7 year process from diagnosis to metastatic disease.

• Urology Dr. David Shusterman: "The fact that we just find it at a Gleason 9 is just pretty much unheard of in this day and age."

Back up: In 2022, the White House called it a gaffe when Biden told the press: "Thats why I and so damn many people I grew up with have cancer."

Zoom out: This news comes just as a book citing hundreds of sources within the Biden White House is released, detailing the cover-up of Joe’s mental and physical decline.

Big picture: I don’t want to speculate. But if the medical experts are correct, it is extremely unlikely that Joe Biden didn’t know he had cancer. And if that is the case, he served as president without informing the American public. And worse, he planned to run for a second term.

Bigger picture: Cancer sucks. And I’ll pray for Joe Biden’s speedy recovery. This is a reminder for all of us to get regular health screenings, especially older adults.

Sicko bombs fertility clinic

A man opposed to pro-life values committed what authorities are calling “an intentional act of terrorism” over the weekend, bombing a reproductive center in California.

The details: On Saturday, 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus blew up his car outside the American Reproductive Centers (ARC) in Palm Springs, killing himself and injuring four others. ARC performs IVF treatments, egg retrievals, and other fertility care.

• Police found two rifles and ammunition with the exploded vehicle.

• None of the embryos or other “sensitive material” was damaged by the blast.

His motive: Bartkus is a self-described "pro-mortalist" and “anti-natalist.” In a manifesto posted to his website with the tag line “F*ck you pro-lifers!,” he wrote:

• “I think we need a war against pro-lifers.”

• “I just wanted to say, your god definitely doesn't exist, but if he did, I'd choose satan over your evil god. Did you ever think that maybe the bible is just slander against satan, and that satan just realized what a f***ing creep your god is?”

Glossary: A pro-mortalist believes death can be good or should happen sooner. An anti-natalist thinks having children is wrong because life causes pain or harm.

What they're saying: The FBI Los Angeles field office confirmed: "This was a targeted attack against the IVF facility. Make no mistake, we are treating this, as I said yesterday, is an intentional act of terrorism."

Zoom out: President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order to expand access to in vitro fertilization, aiming to reduce treatment costs and remove regulatory barriers.
