Welcome back, Wake Up Right fam! In case you needed a reminder that MSNBC is a steaming, hot pile of 💩, check out the headline they ran after the illegal alien who murdered Laken Riley was sentenced to life in prison:

“Laken Riley’s killer never stood a chance.” After backlash, they changed the headline to read: “The guilt of Laken Riley's killer was never in doubt.”

No wonder Comcast is trying to sell the network…

Gun ownership higher among Republican women than Democrat men

Gun ownership among Republican women is rising while rates are declining among Democrat men, highlighting the cultural rift between leftists and conservatives.

The numbers: The Gallup survey measured ownership rates between 2019-2024 compared to 2007-2012.

  • Republican women increased from 19% to 33%.

  • Democrat men decreased from 36% to 29%

Not surprising: Republican men are most likely to own a gun, at a rate of 60%, which is up slightly from 57%. Democrat women are the least likely group to own a firearm, at 12%.

Regional data: Region is also a major factor in gun ownership, according to the Survey. 51% of Americans who live in rural areas own a gun, compared to just 20% of big city residents.

Zoom out: Overall, gun ownership remained fairly steady from 2007 to 2024, etching up slightly from 30% to 31%.

Quote: Former NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch reacted to the survey, saying:

  • “I think it’s phenomenal and speaks to the confidence and courage of women who are moved to protect themselves and their families in the face of the increasing lawlessness and disorder."

Moral of the story: If you find yourself in danger, find a woman in a MAGA hat — not a dude in a Harris-Walz camo hat.

Trump’s New York sentencing suspended indefinitely

The sentencing in President-elect Donald Trump’s Manhattan non-disclosure agreement case has been postponed indefinitely, and the judge will let his lawyers argue for a complete dismissal.

The details: New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan issued a one-page order on Friday, canceling the sentencing, which was originally set for November 26 [tomorrow]. He notably did not set a future date.

  • Last week, the Manhattan DA’s office, run by Soros-funded Alvin Bragg, declined to drop the case but signaled it would freeze it until Trump leaves office.

Back up: Earlier this year, Trump was charged with 34 counts for allegedly falsifying business records because he filed non-disclosure agreement payments to Stormy Daniels as "legal fees." This case was widely regarded as the most bogus and politically motivated of all the lawfare against him.

Trump World responds: Trump's communications director, Steven Cheung, said:

  • "The hoax Manhattan Case is now fully stayed and sentencing is adjourned. President Trump won a landslide victory as the American People have issued a mandate to return him to office and dispose of all remnants of the Witch Hunt cases.”

Dismissal? Judge Merchan granted Trump's lawyers’ request to argue for a dismissal because he is protected by presidential immunity. They have until December 2 to submit their motion.

Big picture: All of the lawfare against Trump is slowly crumbling down following his decisive election win. In addition to this case, the two brought by the Biden DOJ’s special counsel, Jack Smith, are expected to be withdrawn.
