Through all the fluff and softballs, one question hit its mark. Kamala was asked what she would do differently than Joe Biden. She said: "There is not a thing that comes to mind."

Thirteen dead American soldiers from the botches Afghanistan withdrawal. Crippling, high inflation. Open border illegals killing and raping young women like Laken Riley. But she would change “not a thing.”

Kamala makes the hurricane all about her

Joe Biden threw Kamala Harris under the bus yesterday after she tastelessly tried to use a deadly hurricane to raise her political profile.

Back up: This story begins with a news report earlier this week that Kamala Harris was trying to reach out to Florida Gov. Ron DeSanits about storm recovery after Hurricane Helene slammed his state over a week ago.

Kamala reacts: Later that day, Kamala accused DeSantis of “Playing political games at this moment… is just utterly irresponsible, and it is selfish, and it is about political gamesmanship.”

Joe Biden contradicts his VP: Yesterday, Joe Biden, threw his vice president under the bus, directly contradicting her, and told the press: “The governor of Florida has been cooperative. He said he’s gotten all that he needs. I talked to him again yesterday and I said, ‘No, you’re doing a great job. It’s being, all being done well. We thank you for it.”

DeSantis gets the final word: The Florida governor told Fox & Friends yesterday: “We’ve been on an emergency footing for two weeks straight. My focus has not been on dealing with Kamala Harris… it’s not about you, Kamala. It’s about the people of Florida.” He added:

• "I’ve worked on these hurricanes under both President Trump and President Biden. Neither of them ever tried to politicize it.”

• “She has never called on any of the storms we’ve had since she’s been vice president until apparently now… We know it’s because of politics.”

Chain of command: DeSantis and Biden both confirmed they've been in contact with one another throughout the back-to-back storms. The Florida Governor aptly points out: "Harris is not even in the chain of command; she has no role in this."

U.S. hospitals performed thousands of sex change surgeries on kids

A shocking new database maps “gender-affirming care” for minors across the U.S. and finds that thousands of children have undergone extreme sex-change surgeries in recent years.

The details: An advocacy group called Do No Harm launched an interactive database called ‘Does My Hospital Transition Kids?’ which maps providers and hospitals that administer "gender-affirming care" to minors.

The numbers: According to the data:

• 5,747 minors received sex-change operations [mastectomy or genital reassignment]

• 8,579 children received puberty blockers/hormone therapy

• 60,000+ prescriptions were written, overall

The price tag: Medical facilities collected at least $119 million for facilitating these life-altering procedures.

Regional differences: California, Massachusetts, and New York topped the list of states with the highest spending and patient numbers.

Where is the data from? Do No Harm aggregates insurance claims filed nationwide. They claim they were overly cautious in counting cases, so the actual numbers are likely much higher.

Zoom out: A new CDC survey found that 3% of high school students identify as transgender, and another 2.2% are questioning their gender identity.

The last word goes to Chloe Cole, who was medically transitioned from female to male at age 13. At age 16, she de-transitioned and now advocates against the practice.

• Chloe says this data “proves the lies from the medical establishment and radical politicians who argue that cases like mine are rare.”
