You may recall that early in his first term, Trump delivered an address that called out globalism and warned Europe that it was headed down a path of self-destruction. The smug globalists laughed in his face.

Today, he’s expected to deliver more “tough talk” on the failures of globalism while highlighting “the return of American strength.”

Trump and RFK’s major autism announcement

President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced a sweeping Autism Action Plan to confront soaring U.S. autism rates. The plan zeroes in on expert insights suggesting Tylenol use during pregnancy may lead to increased risk of autism.

Expert insights: The White House cited several high-profile figures and institutions in their findings:

• 💬 A Johns Hopkins study analyzing umbilical cord blood found "newborns with the highest exposure to acetaminophen were about three times more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder in childhood."

• 💬 A Harvard University study found: "Using acetaminophen during pregnancy may increase children’s autism and ADHD risk.”

• 💬 Andrea Baccarelli, the Dean of Faculty at Harvard School of Public Health, said: “We found evidence of an association between exposure to acetaminophen during pregnancy and increased incidence of neurodevelopmental disorders in children.”

The action plan: The plan zeroes in on three areas for action across treatment, prevention, and research:

• 💊 Acetaminophen in Pregnancy: Citing large U.S. studies, the administration warned that Tylenol use during pregnancy may raise the risk of autism. Trump bluntly urged women to limit use unless medically necessary, saying: “Taking Tylenol is not good. I’ll say it. It’s not good.”

• ⚕️ Treatment: The FDA is changing the label for Leucovorin (a form of folic acid) so doctors can use it to treat Cerebral Folate Deficiency (CFD). CFD is linked to severe autism symptoms. Studies show 85% of patients get better – especially in speech and communication.

• 🧪 NIH Autism Data Science Initiative: The National Institutes of Health launched a $50 million plan to study autism. It will fund 13 projects looking at how things like toxins, a mother’s diet, and conditions before birth mix with biology to affect outcomes.

The numbers: Autism rates have surged nearly 400% since the 1990s, now affecting 1 in 31 children.

What the other side is saying: Kenvue, the maker of Tylenol, says the product is safe and called the announcement “deeply concerning.” And the Coalition of Autism Scientists said the announcement was "highly irresponsible and potentially dangerous."

The following was not part of the Autism Action Plan and its preceding investigation. It was, however, discussed by both Trump and RFK at the press conference, and I think, speaks to what they hope to study in the coming year.

Trump’s personal vaccine guidance: During his remarks, President Trump also called attention to the vaccine schedule for young children, implying that they are being bombarded with too many toxins at once. He said:

• “Vaccines need to be spread out.”

• "We want no mercury in the vaccine. We want no aluminum in the vaccine.”

• "The MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), I think, should be taken separately. This is based on what I feel... It seems to be that when you mix them, there could be a problem."

The last word goes to Secretary Kennedy, who said:

• "Some 40-70% of mothers who have children with autism believe that their child was injured by a vaccine. President Trump believes that we should be listening to these mothers instead of gaslighting and marginalizing them like prior administrations."

Real talk from G: Whether you agree or disagree with Trump and Kennedy’s comments on vaccine links to autism, there is no denying that cases of the debilitating disorder have risen drastically over the past few decades. Until now, Big Pharma and the medical industrial complex have stood by, seemingly content with that trajectory. What is the harm in studying to find out if there is a link?
