Good morning, Wake Up Right fam! Yesterday I predicted a fiery speech from the President at the United Nations General Assembly, and boy, did he deliver. Thank you, Mr. President, for not making me look dumb.

Full breakdown below.

Google admits to censoring conservatives for Biden

Google admitted to House Republicans that the Biden regime pressured them to censor Americans on YouTube – and pledged to reinstate the accounts previously banned for political speech.

The details: In a letter to Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, Google conceded Biden officials repeatedly pressured the company to pull COVID-19 and election content that didn’t violate YouTube’s rules.

  • They admitted the pressure was “unacceptable and wrong,” adding the company will never again use third-party fact-checkers or outsource censorship. Instead, they’ll use a Community Notes system similar to the one pioneered by Elon Musk on X.

Olive branch: YouTube plans to let banned creators rejoin the platform – from prominent figures like Steve Bannon and Dan Bongino to lesser-known voices.

  • Steve Bannon exclusively told The National Pulse: “Google Oligarchs Go Fuck Yourself—Our Mission is to Destroy You.”

Part of a bigger scandal: The Biden regime was also caught pressuring Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Twitter (now X) to censor speech it disagreed with.

Zoom out: Google has warned House Republicans that the European Union's censorship law, known as the Digital Services Act (DSA), may target American companies and threaten free speech.

Big picture: The left spent the last week calling the suspension of late-night host Jimmy Kimmel an attack on free speech. But none of them said a word as these Big Tech oligarchs censored conservatives.

Real talk from G: How many conservative content creators that relied on YouTube revenue had their lives ruined by this?

Trump rejects failures of globalism in UN speech

"The entire globalist concept of asking successful, industrialized nations to inflict pain on themselves, and radically disrupt their entire societies, must be rejected completely and totally."

When President Donald Trump addressed the United Nations yesterday, he had no teleprompter and no patience for the failed globalist policies of the past.

Technical issues (or sabotage?): Before Trump took the stage, an escalator malfunctioned at the exact moment he and Melania Trump stepped on it, abruptly stopping and nearly tripping the First Lady. Then, once Trump got on stage his teleprompter malfunctioned.

  • During his speech, while lashing the UN for providing no help on global issues, Trump joked: “All I got from the United Nations was an escalator that, on the way up, stopped right in the middle.... And then a teleprompter that didn't work.”

The details: Trump lectured the 80th annual United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for nearly an hour – blasting unchecked immigration’s erosion of cultural identity, climate policies that weaken nations, and a failed prosecution of the war in Ukraine.

Immigration: Trump hammered Europe’s open borders and the UN for funding illegal immigration to the United States. He said:

  • “In 2024, the UN budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying into the United States… The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not finance them.”

  • “Your countries are being ruined. The United Nations is funding an assault on Western countries and their borders.”

The Ukraine war: Trump faulted Europe for financing Russia’s war efforts by continuing to purchase energy from the Kremlin.

  • “China and India are the primary funders of the ongoing war by continuing to purchase Russian oil, but inexcusably, even NATO countries have not cut off much Russian energy and Russian energy products… Think of it, they're funding the war against themselves.”

  • Trump also raised the prospect of issuing sanctions on Russia, but said, “for those tariffs to be effective, European nations, all of you are gathered here right now, would have to join us in adopting the exact same measures.”

Climate "hoax": Trump blasted the UN’s climate alarmism and characterized green energy as an expensive mirage meant to weaken nations, saying:

  • “In 1982, the executive director of the United Nations Environmental Program predicted that by the year 2000, climate change would cause a global catastrophe... What happened? Here we are."

  • “It's a con job. At extreme cost and expense, Europe reduced its carbon footprint by 37%… Congratulations, Europe. Great job. You cost yourself a lot of jobs, a lot of factories closed… [meanwhile, that sacrifice has been] "totally wiped out... by a global increase of 54%, much of it coming from China and other countries that are thriving around China, which now produces more CO2 than all the other developed nations in the world."

The last word: Trump closed out the speech on a positive call-to-action, saying:

  • “Our ancestors gave everything for homelands that they defended with pride, with sweat, with blood, with life and with death. Now the righteous task of protecting the nations that they built belongs to each and every one of us. So together, let us uphold our sacred duty to our people and to our citizens. Let us protect their borders, ensure their safety, preserve their cultures, treasure and traditions and fight, fight, fight for their precious dreams and their cherished freedoms.”

A few months ago, I was at a butcher in my neighborhood and saw a diagram of a cow, with all the cuts of meat labeled. And that gave me an idea for a t-shirt:

DOGE Butcher Shop — but instead of the cow, we use a pig. And the cuts of meat in the diagram represent all the waste, fraud, and abuse being butchered by the Trump admin.

Over the last few weeks, I worked with a really talented graphic designer who brought it to life. And on Friday I got a sample in the mail and I’m happy to say, it came out better than I’d hoped.

Also, my wife told me I had to mention that the t-shirt it’s printed on is Comfort Colors. Apparently, they’re well-known for high-quality materials. I just chose them because they are printed in the U.S. and made with 100 U.S. cotton.
