The left’s hero is exposed as a wife-beating gang banger

The Department of Justice (DOJ) released documents proving that Kilmar Albrego Garcia, an illegal alien from El Salvador, is affiliated with the MS-13 gang, despite efforts from prominent Democrats and the media to hail him as a victim.

The details: Federal records show Abrego Garcia held the MS-13 rank "Chequeo" and the street name "Chele," with confirmed ties to the gang’s Western cliques.

• He was flagged by Maryland police in 2019 after being spotted socializing with MS-13 members in a Home Depot parking lot, wearing clothing tied to gang symbolism.

Wife-beater: Court filings reveal that Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, filed for a protective order against him in 2021. She described to police the brutal details of her assault, including being punched, scratched, grabbed, and left bleeding. She alleged Garcia often beat her in front of their infant child.

• Ms. Sura wrote in her petition for a protective order: “I was watching on my laptop, and he yelled at me to turn it off, I told him I wasn’t sleepy, he got angry, reached over shut and threw my laptop on the floor, and the baby started to cry because he was putting pressure on him, my [immediate] reaction was to push him off of us, and he then punched, [scratched] me on my left eye, leaning me bleeding.”

• It’s worth noting that Sura did not follow through with her request, and today is advocating for his return to the U.S.

Zoom out: Yesterday, Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen flew to El Salvador to demand Garcia's release. When Border Czar Tom Homan was asked about the publicity stunt, he quipped:

• “Chris Van Hollen, the guy that didn’t want to sign the Laken Riley Act that protects American citizens against illegal alien criminal gang members?… So rather than protecting his community, protecting the residents of Maryland, he goes to El Salvador to coddle an MS-13 gang member terrorist."

Real talk from G: I personally hope Democrats continue to pursue these sorts of fights. It’s a self-destructive impulse that will benefit Republicans. Just take this week, for example. Instead of the media focusing on tariffs and market sell-offs, they were chasing this story. 🤷‍♂️

Hypocrite much? AG who prosecuted Trump for fraud appears to have committed mortgage fraud

Letitia James, the New York AG who led the civil fraud case against Donald Trump, now faces a referral to the DOJ for alleged mortgage fraud.

The details: The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) alleges James misrepresented property details to secure favorable mortgage terms.

• 🏠️ Virginia Property: James reportedly claimed a Norfolk, VA home as her primary residence, despite her role requiring New York residency.

• 🏠️ Brooklyn Property: She allegedly misrepresented her five-unit Brooklyn building as having four units to qualify for better loan terms that required fewer than five.

Daddy issues: The FHFA also alleges that in 1983 “Ms. James and her father signed mortgage documents that stated that they were husband and wife in order to secure a home mortgage. Then, on May 4, 2000, Ms. James was listed again as ‘husband and wife’ in documents. While this was a long time ago, it raises serious concerns about the validity of Ms. James representations on mortgage applications.”

Hypocrite: This referral comes after James's $464 million civil fraud judgment against Trump for allegedly inflating his net worth to obtain better loan terms.

The last word goes to Tish James herself, who, during her prosecution of Trump, posted on X:

• "When powerful people cheat to get better loans, it comes at the expense of hardworking people. Everyday Americans cannot lie to a bank to get a mortgage, and if they did, our government would throw the book at them. There simply cannot be different rules for different people.”
