Good morning, Wake Up Right fam!

The boxer Mike Tyson once said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” My baby punched me in the mouth Sunday night and threw off my plans to restart newsletters on Monday. Please bear with me while I adjust to the late-night demands of a newborn.

Today, we’re getting back on track by catching you up on the latest developments in the heinous killing of beloved conservative, Charlie Kirk. It’s a deep dive. So top off your coffee and buckle up.

  • 💉 56% believe COVID-19 vaccines caused significant deaths

  • 🏧 46% of Gen Z already tapped into retirement savings

  • ☹️ 26.7% of 18-29 has or had depression, was 13% in 2017

  • 📚️ Just 35% of 12th graders are college proficient

What we know about the Trantifa leftist who assassinated Charlie Kirk

Definition of Trantifa: It mixes "transgender + ANTIFA" and is used to describe the radical, sometimes violent and organized elements of the two groups, which reguarly work together to sow chaos in the United States.

It’s been six days since a coward gunned down Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk during a campus event in Utah. Here’s everything we know about the shooter and how violent, left-wing transgender ideology played a role in his radicalization.

The latest: FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that DNA evidence ties 22-year-old Tyler Robinson to the murder weapon.

  • Motive: Kash Patel told the press yesterday that the FBI found “a text message exchange where the suspect [Robinson], specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do that. And when [Robinson] was asked why, he said, ‘Some hatred cannot be negotiated with.’”

Back up: Robinson was brought into custody after his father recognized him in surveillance photos released by law enforcement. Robinson told his father he’d rather kill himself than surrender. So the father reached out to a family friend – a youth pastor, who was also serving with the U.S. Marshals – and he called the Marshals to arrest the killer.

Transgender boyfriend: It's also been confirmed that Robinson lived with his transgender boyfriend, Lance Twiggs. The roommate was a biological male in the process of "transitioning" to female. Officials call the roommate “extremely cooperative.” The FBI has seized both the Robinson’s and the boyfriend’s electronics.

Online Discord chats: The FBI is in possession of chats on Discord that show Robinson allegedly bragging about the attack afterward:

  • Hours after killing Charlie Kirk, Robinson joked with friends in a Discord chat room about the murder. One wrote, "Tyler killed Charlie!!!!!" Another joked about turning him in for the $100,000 FBI reward, to which he shot back, "Only if I get a cut."

  • Another message, on the day of his arrest, read: "Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this. im surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. thanks for all the good times and laughs."

  • Discord initially claimed it found “no evidence” that Robinson promoted violence on its platform.

Trantifa extremists: Robinson appears to have been immersed in online trantifa subcultures.

  • One of the bullets left at the scene was engraved with “notices, bulges, OWO, what's this?” – a phrase used on the internet by transgenders who like to role-play as pets during sex.

  • Two other bullets read, “Hey, fascist! Catch" and “Oh bella ciao.” The first is self-explanatory. The second is a classic Italian song used as a rallying cry by ANTIFA extremists.

  • Authorities are investigating a far-left extremist group called the "Armed Queers of Salt Lake City," which wiped its social media pages in the days after the attack.

Radicalized: Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Robinson was into "deep, dark internet... culture and these other dark places of the internet," and added he was "deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology."

  • Robinson’s own family admits he recently became more politically active, and his politics were "very different" from those of his conservative family.

Possible co-conspirators: The FBI is also investigating several social media accounts that appeared to have knowledge of the assassination before it took place.

  • One user wrote: "it'd be funny if someone like charlie kirk got shot on september 10th LMAO."

  • Another post, which read "september 10th will be a very interesting day" was shared by an X account that follows Lance Twiggs - the shooter’s transgender boyfriend.

Big picture: This appears to be yet another tragic example of the growing epidemic of transgender violence in America. While Robinson isn’t trans himself, it seems that he was immersed in the ideology.

  • Earlier this month, a transgender maniac killed two children and injured 18 others at a Catholic Church in Minneapolis.

What happens next? Utah prosecutors are reportedly preparing to file capital murder charges against Robinson. Notably, Utah is one of the five states in the nation that still allows for the death penalty to be carried out by firing squad.

A few months ago, I was at a butcher in my neighborhood and saw a diagram of a cow, with all the cuts of meat labeled. And that gave me an idea for a t-shirt:

DOGE Butcher Shop — but instead of the cow, we use a pig. And the cuts of meat in the diagram represent all the waste, fraud, and abuse being butchered by the Trump admin.

Over the last few weeks, I worked with a really talented graphic designer who brought it to life. And on Friday I got a sample in the mail and I’m happy to say, it came out better than I’d hoped.

Also, my wife told me I had to mention that the t-shirt it’s printed on is Comfort Colors. Apparently, they’re well-known for high-quality materials. I just chose them because they are printed in the U.S. and made with 100 U.S. cotton.
