Fact check: The closest race of the 21st century was Bush-Gore, decided by five electoral votes. She lost to Trump by 86. Trump also won the popular vote by more than 2 million.

‘ANTI-ICE’ shooter opens fire on ICE facility

A gunman opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Texas in what appears to be a leftist, anti-ICE motivated shooting.

The details: On Thursday morning, 29-year-old Joshua Jahn climbed to a rooftop near the Dallas ICE facility and fired dozens of rounds, spraying the complex, and striking a van carrying illegal aliens – at least one was hit and died. Several others were injured.

• Jahn then shot and killed himself.

The motive: According to a post on X from FBI Director Kash Patel, the investigation is still ongoing, but “evidence shows an ideological motive.” Kash shared an image of shell casings Jahn left at the scene, engraved with “ANTI ICE” on them.

• Jahn’s mother’s Facebook page is full of left-wing rants.

Back up: For the past few months, there have been repeated attacks against ICE facilities and officers. In July, an officer was shot in the neck outside an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas. In August, this same Dallas facility had a bomb threat.

Epidemic of left-wing violence: This shooting is the latest in a wave of brutal leftist attacks – including Charlie Kirk’s assassination on September 10 and the August 27 massacre by a transgender person at a Catholic school that killed two children and wounded more than a dozen.

Democrat rhetoric leads to violence: Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem called out Democrats for their dangerous rhetoric against ICE, saying:

• “For months, we’ve been warning politicians and the media to tone down their rhetoric about ICE law enforcement before someone was killed... Comparing ICE day-in and day-out to the Nazi Gestapo, the Secret Police, and slave patrols has consequences… The violence and dehumanization of these men and women who are simply enforcing the law must stop.”

Zoom out: Assaults on ICE officers increased by 1,000% in September. Despite this startling statistic, California Gov. Gavin Newsom just signed a law making it illegal for agents to wear face coverings – something many have resorted to due to the left doxxing them and threatening their families.

Big picture: President Trump is taking a bold stance against violent, politically-motivated attacks and, in a post on Truth Social yesterday, said:

• “We have already declared ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization, and I will be signing an Executive Order this week to dismantle these Domestic Terrorism Networks,” and said he is committed to “fully rooting out the Left Wing Domestic Terrorism that is terrorizing our Country.”

Real talk from G: Make no mistake – Democrats want their rhetoric to lead to violence. Earlier this year, when leftists were vandalizing Teslas, Rep. Pramila Jayapal called for Democrats to be "strike ready" and "street ready" and suggested they needed to prepare to have a “risk tolerance.”

Indictment coming for Comey

The Justice Department (DOJ) is preparing to indict former FBI Director James Comey for lying to Congress about the Trump-Russia probe, according to multiple reports.

The details: Reports indicate the DOJ believes Comey committed perjury by lying to Congress during his testimony in September 2020, when he denied ever authorizing a leak of classified memos to the media about the Trump-Russia investigation.

Important timeline note: The five-year statute of limitations for these charges expires this month.

Here’s the theory: During the Trump-Russia probe [which found no collusion], someone was leaking information to the press in order to spin a narrative of corruption. It appears Comey was giving information about the investigation to his advisor, Daniel Richman, to feed to the New York Times.

Perjury: In May 2017, Senator Grassley asked Comey, under oath, if he “ever authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump investigation.” Comey replied: “No.”

• That interaction falls outside the statute of limitations. However…

• On September 30, 2020, Comey was again testifying under oath, and Senator Ted Cruz asked him, “So your testimony is you've never authorized anyone to leak?" To which Comey replied, his answer was "the same today" as it was in his May 2017 testimony.

Here’s where it gets interesting: Daniel Richman [Comey’s NY Times leaker] was subpoenaed two weeks ago as part of this criminal probe.

Trump set a fire under Bondi: The expiring timeline could be why President Trump issued a rare scolding of his Attorney General Pam Bondi last Saturday, which said, in part: “We can’t delay any longer… They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!”

Real talk from G: Comey and his cronies did everything they could to undermine the first Trump presidency. The same network of deep state thugs tried to put him in jail when he was out of office. He deserves treason charges. But, for now, we’ll settle for perjury.
